ヘビーウエイトの長袖は本来、ハードな質感の生地のせいか動きづらかったり、肌あたりが気になりがちだと思いますが、”STAND WHEELER”のヘビーウエイトだとそのデメリットが皆無。
よくあるヘビーウエイトの天竺は中太の糸をかなり度詰めで編むので、硬さがきになったり肌あたりがザラザラと感じますが、8番もの太い糸を度詰めにすると、度詰めとはいえ、わずかながら編み目に余裕が生まれ、程よいストレッチ性が残ります。また、太い糸だと肌あたりも柔らかく感じられます。
ヘビーウエイトの長袖Tシャツの中ではかなり着心地の良いTシャツだと思います。袖口と裾のリブは縫い付けではなく、バインダー仕様。
着用によるリブの伸びでヨレヨレになるのはかなり抑えれるでしょう。
それよりも、縫い付けによる極端な絞れではなく、バインダー縫いによって自然に、そしてわずかに縮むことでハードな質感のヘビーウエイト天竺にまた違った表情が生まれます。
